Erroll Southers to Lead Sessions on Al Qaeda and Aviation Security at the ICT’s World Summit on Counter-Terrorism

Erroll Southers, TAL Global Managing Director for Counter-Terrorism and Infrastructure Protection will be speaking at the ICT conference. Erroll will lead two different sessions, one titled “Americans in Al Qaeda” and the other, “Aviation Terrorism & Security” . This is the fourth year in a row that Mr. Southers has been invited to participate in this elite conference.

The International Institute for Counter-Terrorism’s (ICT) international conference is one of the most influential events in the field of Counter-Terrorism today. The conference is attended by high-profile experts from a diverse background of disciplines, current and former ministers, members of parliament, heads of security agencies and police departments, first responders, academics, and professional experts.

Amongst the participants and presenters are former heads of the Mossad and Shabak (e.g. Maj. Gen. Daniel Rothschild, Mr. Shabtai Shavit, Maj. Gen. Ami Ayalon, Mr. Carmi Gillon, Mr. Yaacov Peri, Maj. Gen. Danny Yatom, M.K. Avi Dichter), and former ministers of defense and IDF chiefs of staff (e.g. Prof. Moshe Arens, Deputy Minister Maj. Gen. Matan Vilnai, Lt. Gen. Dan Halutz, Lt. Gen. Shaul Mofaz). In addition, several former ministers of internal security, former police commissioners, former chairpersons of the National Security Council and Counter-Terrorism Bureau and former heads of military intelligence directorate will be in attendance.

“This is clearly a gathering of the world’s best Counter-Terrorism experts”, said Johnathan Tal, President and Chief Executive Officer of TAL Global.  Mr. Tal is also scheduled to attend the event.

The conference is held September 12-15, 2010 by the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya, Israel and is expecting to host more than a 1,000 attendees from 50 different countries.  Updates from the conference will be posted on the TAL Global website, www.talglobal.com.
